Updating your Modem/Router Drivers and Firmware
Note: You will need the following files to update the firmware on your Router/Modem or Wireless Adapter.
Important: Make sure that you download the correct Driver, Drivers Removal Tool and Firmware for your Modem/Router before you uninstall your existing drivers.
Windows users to uninstall your current drivers you will need to access the Control Panel and double-click on Add/Remove Programs. You will then need to select your Modem/Router from the list of installed programs. Click on it to highlight it, then click on the Add/Remove or Change button. This will now start the uninstall process. After you have uninstalled the drivers and you have restarted the computer you will need to locate the new Drivers you have downloaded from this page. Unzip the drivers to your hard drive and double click on Setup.exe and follow the onscreen instructions to install the new drivers.
Macintosh users will need to open the Hard Disk Drive, open Applications and double click on the Modem/Router listed to uninstall. After you have restarted your Macintosh install the new drivers contained in the zip file you have downloaded.
Wireless users must use a Ethernet cable to connect when updating the firmware.
