Setting your default connection with Windows XP
Our 0845 and 0808 dial-up products were withdrawn from service in January 2015. To find out more about this, or if you have any questions please see our Dial closure FAQ.
1. Open the Control Panel then double click on Internet Options.
2. Click on the Connections tab:
You will see a list of dial-up connections configured on your computer, simply highlight the one you want to make default and click the Set Default button.
Note that if Set Default is greyed out, you probably have Never dial a connection selected, if that is true then select Always dial my default connection.
3. Now click on OK, and close the Control Panel.
