Using tab browsing - Safari
Tabbed browsing is a way to have multiple web pages open at once without having many different browser windows open. When tabbed browsing is turned on, you can switch between pages quickly and easily using tabs in Safari.
To enable tabbed browsing:
Open Safari
Click Safari and select Preferences
To open a new tab:
Click on File
Select New Tab
Choose Tabs
Tick Enable Tabbed Browsing
Now Close Safari and reopen Safari
To switch between pages:
Click the tabs under the Bookmarks bar to navigate from one page to another.
To open a link in a new tab:
Hold down the APPLE key and click the link you want to open.
To close a tab:
Click the x to the left of the title of the page you would like to close.
